GuardExo BT 20 is a high-performance, water-based, broad-spectrum preservative containing 20% active BIT (1,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-one). Specially developed by Chemtiver, it offers long-lasting protection against microbial contamination in a wide range of aqueous industrial formulations. The product is ideal for use in systems requiring stability under alkaline conditions.

It is particularly suitable for alkaline systems and shows good compatibility with most commonly used formulation components.
The optimal dosage depends on the specific formulation, the expected shelf-life, and the level of microbial contamination. Typical use levels range between 0.05% and 0.5%, but final levels should always be validated through performance and compatibility testing.
Store between 5°C and 35°C in a dry, well-ventilated area
Avoid freezing and direct sunlight
Keep the container tightly closed when not in use
Use personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles) during handling
