Proxel® BD20 is a broad-spectrum, BIT-based in-can preservative designed for use in water-based formulations that require long-lasting microbial control. Manufactured by LANXESS, it contains 20% active 1,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-one, offering high efficacy even at low dosages. Proxel® BD20 is formaldehyde-free, making it suitable for eco-conscious and regulatory-sensitive applications. It is ideal for protecting products such as paints, adhesives, construction chemicals, emulsions, and home care products from bacteria, mold, and yeast during storage.
