ACTICIDE® LA by Thor is biocide. It is a mixture of 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1, 3-diol (8.80%), 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (0.85%) and 2–methyl–4–isothiazolin–3–one (0.28%). It acts as an industrial microbiocide. It controls the growth of bacteria and fungi. ACTICIDE® LA is suitable for synthetic and natural polymer latices including acrylics, styrene-butadiene, carboxylated styrenebutadiene, ethylene-vinyl acetate and biopolymers intended for industrial use such as xanthan gum, gum arabic, guar gum, protein derived polymers, starches and casein derived polymers. The recommended dosage is 0.5-3.0 lb.
